If you want one, you'd better order it on-line. They don't last very long.

Thanks Eddy, the 43 ltd is also now in stock, no where near as popular as the 50, but still a great lens. I'm patiently (sorta) waiting for them or Adorama to get the 77mm ltd in stock.

Ordered the 35mm F2 FA last week. It shipped on Friday and should be in GA on Thursday.

This should round out my lens collection at least for a while. I have three zooms, the 50 1.4 and the 35 F2. I should be set now.

My resolution for 2007 is to take at least one picture per day, if not more, and try for little to no duplication.

I'll try my hand at portraits with the 50mm. Some good all around shooting with the 35mm and use the zooms for the rest.

What I learned in 2006 was that no matter how much equipment you have, you think you need more. And that "need" really has nothing to do with the equipment you purchase.

Have a great 2007 Saltwater.

Thanks Eddy, and a healthy and prosperous New Year to you and yours also. Congratulations on the new 35, I've heard it's a great lens. Be sure to post some samples when you get it.
My new year's resolution is similar to yours. To take as many pictures as possible and post at least one online each and every week.
As far as equipement is concerned, I used to be a professional musician. In that profession it is called GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) like LBA, there is no known cure . It's a good thing (maybe) that I have limited funds, otherwise I'd soon have no place to live in my small NY apartment for all the lenses, tripods, flashes, lightboxes, reflectors etc etc.

Hope you enjoy the 35/2 it is my favourite lens by a long shot... Iwonder as it doesn't have supply problem like the 50/1.4 is it just that much less popular or is Pentax still producing decent numbers of them?

Just checked with B&H. Now out of stock again. It was in stock for a couple of days so they must have had a ton of them.

Huzzah! Mine shipped yesterday! Now - if I only had a camera to attach it to.
