The DA 15 Ltd is great for certain situations, but can occasionally be too wide. It's probably my best quality lens I use for landscape type shots. However, honestly, I've taken what I think are my best landscapes with the 18-55 kit lens.

For me it's two - the DA*16-50 and the DA 12-24.

On aps-c, maybe the F 28/2.8 or DA 35/2.8 LTD or K28/2. The A 50/1.2. If I need wider, the DA 21/3.2 ltd.

I've enjoyed the Tamron 10-24 the most for landscapes. With LR and a good tripod its just so versatile and has a terrific range.

I have found the M28/2.8 to be sharp enough and have good contrast. Ironically, I have found it wide enough for almost all situations, and when not, stepping backwards usually solved the problem. But my main camera is M42, so there's the inconvenience of not being able to use it that easy. My copy of the Super Takumar 28mm f/3.5 isn't as sharp, has worse contrast, is more prone to flare and has CA too.

I use the DA* 16~50/2.8 for any landscape work I may encounter.

I still pull out my Pentax K 24/2.8 from time to time as well. A lot light to carry around.

I am a huge fan of my Sigma 20-40 f/2.8. Since I shoot film too, I am able to experience the wider focal length without waiting for the elusive FF Pentax digital body to emerge from the mist. I have looked into the Sigma 15-30 f/3.5-4.5, but since I love filters, especially ND for longer exposures, it wouldn't have worked out for me. I still want to go wider on digital, so I might invest down the road, after upgrading cameras and pursuing the Tamron 70-200 again.

Of my current collection, I have to say the DA 15 is the best. Sometimes a bit too wide but it's IQ is good enough that a crop still looks very good. I hike a lot in the mountains and I get a lot of use out of the DA 10-17 also.

For me my best landscape lens is the one attached to my camera at that given time
I like to shoot panoramic a lot so I can use that when I have a normal or tele with me then stitch them up, if not any wide angle would do.

My Tamron 10-24 is my go to for landscapes, then my Tamron 17-50 after that.

Depends: For general landscape I'd reach for my FA 20-35 or the FA 31mm ltd. Wide I'd go with my DA 12-24. Long (depending on your defination of long) I'd go with the FA 77 ltd, the A 35-105, or the Tamron 90mm macro. But "landscape" as a lens description is way too broad, almost any lens can be used to take "landscapes".

NaCl(but if I had to chose one it would be the FA 20-35)H2O
