So very overwelmed

This is what I have so far...

Camera.. Pentax K10D Body
Flash..... AF540FGZ

Zoom ... DA Zoom 18mm-55mm F3.5-F5.6 AL Lens
Smc PENTAX-FA J Zoom 75mm - 300mm f/4.5 - f/5.8 AL
Limited.. SMC Pentax-FA 31mm f/1.8 Limited
smc PENTAX-FA 77mm f/1.8 Limited
Marco ... D-FA Macro 100mm F2.8
W/R/L ... SmcPENTAX-DA* 50-135mm F2.8 ED [IF] SDM

Why does Sigma carry 10 year warrenty on their lense and pentax only 2 years ?

Is it really worth wild to buy the battery grip and cart around an extra battery.. Do you think in the future Pentax will have the grip built onto their modle dslr cameras in the future like nikon or cannon or not really ?

Looking for a super amasing wide angle lense, no fish eye please..
Thinking about the Bigma for taking photographs of birds, beavers and other wildlife.

Depends extra shutter button works well for Portaits - extra battery means it last twice as long before you go doooooooooooooh , and for me I have bigger hands and it just fits better. If you can go to a local shop and try one out for the feel.

does it matter, I have never had a lens fail yet in over 25 years

I carry an extra battery, I don't see the need for a grip for what I do, with the K10, but that is just me. the battery is much smaller than the grip, and it only takes about 10 seconds to change. there is a risk with the grip that the battery is dead and you forgot to charge it, with a spare battery I think that is less[quote]
Looking for a super amasing wide angle lense, no fish eye please.. [\quote] go for sigma 10-20 or 12-24 or the pentax 12-24. sigma 12-24 is full frame but reported better than the 10-20 slightly. I have the 10-20 and am very pleased with it

I think that the bigma is not fast enough, compared to other options that get you out to 4oomm and give you more speed at shorter focal lengths.
