50mm reverse ring

Hello there...i hav 2 50mm lens...pentax 50mm f1.7 and nikon 50mm f1.4 ai lens...i wan to connect then each other for macro shot..
but i found 50mm to 50mm reverse ring are not available in market..
so what size connector i can use? 49mm with 52mm??

Focal length has nothing to do with it. It's all about the filter ring size. Whatever the size of your filter rings are (49, 52, etc.) that's what you want to go by.

50mm is the lens' focal length. You need the lens' filter size. nikon 50:.14 ai has a 52mm filter thread and pentax 50:1.7's have a 49mm flter ring so you need a 49mm - 52mm reversing ring.

Many are available on ebay.

The easiest way to find him this ring is if you write Coupler reverse ring.
