UK version lenses

Hello all. Sometimes I find "UK version" when looking for lenses in the ebay. What does it mean?

Maybe its from the official UK importer (so has a UK warranty) and not a "grey market" import from somewhere like Hong Kong , Taiwan or wherever.
Just guessing.
Or with the "UK version" ....comes complete with the frustrations of modern Britain
...you have to pay 8quid everytime you want to use it in central London.
... you're not allowed to take photo of one lane of the M4 unless your on public transport.
... you have to wear a high visibility safety vest when shooting.
.... a committee made up of focus group has to decide which lens you can use
;-)

The UK version is PAL, the US one is NTSC and gets fewer lpmm

Seriously though, I suppose it relates to the guarantee. There's no other difference.

That made me laugh, especially the last two.

Well. Thanks. In addition to steve1307 post I can add: The owner may use it only in UK.

Nowadays I often have to wear one of these whilst working due to insurance restrictions and often venue requirements, least you can't lose me easily.

In fact there is always one good to go in the top of the Peli 1510.
