What about a 400/5.6 Limited?
As small as possible.

the 17-70 sounds like it could replace my 20-35....

I'm a prime guy. I want to get the DA* zooms, but I've put that aside to concentrate on primes. Primes are the reason why I went with Pentax. Their primes are absolutely amazing.
