Zeiss ZK 50/1.4 Planar T

The ZK 50/1.4 Planar T is a manual focus lens currently available at B&H for the princely sum of $500. Does anyone have both this Zeiss and the FA 50/1.4 or variations? I've been to; on a K10D the contrast and corner sharpness wide open was amazing (significantly better than the 43/1.9 Limited when pixel peeping), but I'm curious as to how the Zeiss compares to "classic" Pentax fast 50s.

He reviewed the 43 limited also. You can compare the Planar with the Limited, which is better than the FA 50. FA 50 has all the advantages of previous 50 model. I would consider the Nokton over the Planar, since the focal length would place it close to 85mm equi., which is an ideal length for most portrait works.
