This lens is like a Corvette. I may be able to afford the car but I can't afford the insurance. I can afford this lens, but I can't afford the tripod.

as requested....f4 not sure of the mount though... Lens was made by Perkin Elmer, Norwalk CT. Former employer of mine....

Its about 3 feet long....weighing in around 200+ pounds.

Weren't hose in the SR-71 and/or the U-2?

Yes...Perkin Elmer was an optics company. Made many things....including the slightly out of focus primary mirror of the Hubble Space Telescope (Pic of that mirror hangs on my office wall).

But you are correct regarding this particular lens...
