I don't believe $200 will be enough. It's a starting point. Overall I like the Takumar 28mm F3.5 very much. With the square metal hood, you will feel quite good.
If you go further than a hobby, then maybe get the job done is the first consideration. What I really want to say is don't limit yourself by a budget. You know something can always work out. Get the right tool at beginning is always a smart bet I'd make.

Looking at the pictures I make, I think it' s safe to assume i' ll remain a hobby. But thanks for the advice. I will look up on those lenses.
