18-250 on Camera

In an earlier thread I asked about the 18-250 lens, I have it on order and will pick it up on Tuesday. I was wondering if anyone had a photo of either the Pentax or Tamron version on camera they can post.

TIA

A couple of quick and dusty shots of it (DA 18-250) on the K10. 1st shot is at 18 and 2nd is at 250. The caps is aprx 2.5 inch in diameter.

This is my walk around lens for normal outdoor shooting. It also works well with the 360 flash indoors.

Thanks Brian, this image will hold me over until Tuesday when the lens arrives. The 360 flash is next on my list, maybe the 540 if the funds get better
Also just saw a review of the Pentax 18-250 here; Pentax SMC DA 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 ED AL [IF] - Lab Test Report / Review

The Pentax 18-250 will be my main lens now and the 50mm f/1.4, as much as I like it, will now be used for portraits of family, etc and low light (indoors). The 18-55 kit is going towards a trade for the 18-250.

I think you will be happy with the 18-250. I have not taken many outdoor images with it yet as the weather has not been the greatest but there are a few shots taken with it here. The images have been downsized by my website software.

Some Photos

Nothing special just some Xmas snaps. I have to be more exacting with recording which images were shot with which lenses so I can sort them by lens as I have done in this section of my site. I want to get about 6 or 8 examples from each of my lenses and then just post the best images later on.

I should have mine on Tuesday too and I CAN'T WAIT!! Thanks for asking for the photos... and for the photos!

It looks alittle big to me... and I am a little worried, but hopefully all my worries will wash away once I get it on my camera

Thanks again Brian for the sample images. There are not many samples on PBase atm but, once I get the 18-250 that will change.
As for the weather, not too bad lately, although photo ops have been hampered quite a bit in Greater Vancouver. btw, I noticed you are in Surrey, I'm in Burnaby.
