I used a Pentax: F28-80, F35-70, F70-210, DAII 18-55
************ Sigma :18-125DC, 70-300APO

Now Live with Pentax: 1. DA12-24 ED, 2. DA 17-70 AL , 3. DA 55-300 ED, my recommendation!

1. super sharp throughout the range
2. quality along the entire length range and practical for everyday use
3. sharper and better range along the entire length of the Sigma APO

Looking at the MTF figures on sigmaphoto.com, it looks like the Sigma 70-300 OS version has comparable characteristics with the earlier APO version on APS-C sized sensors. The optical improvements made in the OS version seem to be mainly in edge performance on full size sensors. So if you go with Sigma, can't see any value paying extra for the OS version for use with Pentax K-5, unless there have been mechanical improvements, which seems unlikely.

Thank you all for your information!

@donras: You are right.. the new OS version only has 4 reviews which doesn't make a real significant meaning.
@mbukal: Looks like I will choose this lineup but instead of 2. I will go for the 28-75 tammy.

I will post my experiences when i have purchased the lenses

it will be interesting to see what you add having decided on the tameron 28-75/2.8

A long time ago, I was a strong proponent of starting the kit with 3 zooms, covering 10-200mm (roughly) with as much of this as possible at F2.8, and a means of getting to 400mm if wild life or sports was a possibility). For me that meant a sigma 10-20, the tamron 28-75/2.8 and a sigma 70-200/2.8 (screw drive AF) and sigma 1.4x and 2x TCs.

the long end of this is more than what you plan to spend at present, because a big fast telezoom is just much more expensive than a consumer ~70-300, and since there are some reasonable consumer lenses out there, that is an area you can let slip a little, if you really only plan to use it a couple of times annually.

You may wish to add something wide, below the tamron, either a really good 14-15mm prime or a ultra wide zoom.
