Sigma 70-200/2.8

I'm not sure if this is a typo, but if you look here at the 70-200 for Pentax and Sony, and here at the 70-200 for the others, they are quite different.

Pentax and Sony one has 18 elements in 15 groups, angle of view=22.8-8.1°
Other one has 15 elements in 18 groups, angle =34.3-12.3°

Same dimensions though. But why would they have different listings on the Sigma site if they're no different? Maybe the other one supports non-HSM cameras?

The former is the Mark2 model, the latter the Mark1. I assume that the 15 element model will be replaced by the 18 element version shortly.

They are both the Mark 2.
I suspect the code monkies screwed up.

Yeah they both say "APO 70-200mm F2.8 II EX DG MACRO HSM "

Also, is this latest one for Pentax supposed to available, or at least shipping, now? Or has it just been announced now to ship later?

This must be a typo. The nr. of groups can't be greater than the nr. of elements.
