Got myself a Pentax-K 28mm f2.0

So, like the subject says, I was finally able to track down a Pentax-K 28mm f2.0 thanks to a fellow PF member
It has been on my hit list for a while now. I love that focal length on a crop sensor camera as well as on a FF camera, if Pentax ever releases one...lol Well, I do have my ME and ZX-5 to get the FF effect

Anyway, for those of you that have them, what can I expect i.e. Tendencies, bokeh, CA etc.

This lens is perfection on a film camera and a perfect wide angle focal length. Try using it for close focusing with your ME and you will see what I mean.

Enjoy!

shhh not so loud.

You are better off just throwing it away and using autofocus lenses. Manual lenses give you cancer after all! Send it to me and I'll look after it for you until the time comes when they cure cancer *nods*

This is the proper hood for the K28/2 with a 52mm diameter.

A quick search yields only the 49mm rectangular hoods

Steve
I am going with them until I can get my hands on a rectangular hood.
I was actually going with the standard hood as opposed to the wide angle model for my crop sensor dslr.

New Metal Standard 52mm Screw-in Lens Hood + Cap

Yep, the standard model works well with a 28mm on APS-C.
