Just 'one more lens'? Well, the 21mm is only 'waffer thin'....

I have the 21 and like it as the every day lens in the tradition of the 35 of film days.

From 15mm to 31mm is a big gap, the biggest you have in percentage terms (which is what matters). I'd feel the lack here because I really like the normal to slightly wide field of view; YMMV. 21mm is pretty close to the middle of that gap.

Not sure if you mean RRS? If so, yep, another costly habit.
RRS=Really Right Stuff. From what I can tell, they make the worlds best tripods:

I just bought a used "L" bracket which means I'm now committed to going forward in obtaining a very cool set-up. The only problem is that there are so many options that can get confusing and much of them cost $200+. "Tis a wicked hobby we have here.

P.S. Regarding the zoom, I have the Think Tank Street Walker HD backpack.

Right, I would tend to abbreviate that as RRS.

I'm a RRS junkie myself. Haven't plunked down for a full-size tripod yet (I have the ground pod), but it's on the list.

Only had an hour of sleep because of this site when I posted. I want the full macro rig, Leveling Base w/LR, and, of course, the BH-55. I found this site by accident.

I guess I'll get the '21.
