Flickr Front Page with S/K Componon 35mm F4 reversed:

Most recent photo on Flickr, 28 f/4 reversed (that's landed me magazine publication, email today, wow!)

I also have an 80 but it doesn't quite float my boat. For extreme macro stacking they're outstanding, but I'm not a huge fan of the pentabokeh. All mine through eBay

Beautiful photos! How old are these lenses? Look like old good manual. Did you get them UK or coming from US?
Thanks

Do you want to exclude Pentax and other lenses sold by Samsung under the (licensed) "Schneider-Kreuznach" name?

What about the ISCO lenses, generally quality glass that Schneider-Kreuznach produced in cheap mounts?

Hi,
thank you (to all).

1. I started thread, since Schneider - Kreuznach is famous company and I did not find any resources, so people can share experience, results and working process. This is one of my responses to my only experience with S-K lens and lack of info I faced. Also Pentax is criticised for not having enough high quality glass (generally on web) and I did not find lot of resources about S-K glass on Pentax, despite they produce quite a lot and for longer time.

2. I am happy include all version and rebranded of S-K lenses - it would be fantastic, if it can go like thread under this thread - but if its not possible, please keep it here.

In order to get clarity in threat lets summ it up.

A/ S-K produces lenses as S-K and rebrand as Samsung, Pentax and ISCO.
Please if you have tech details of which lenses are they - share.

B/ ISCO - never heard about. Please share more info - which glass, prices, where to get it, what are experiences, links etc.

C/ Tips for good shopping of these lenses.

D/ PLEASE, PLEASE share your WORK and PROCESS - how are lenses different in terms of CHARACTER, if there is something to watch our or something very strong - interesting....

S-K produced ISCO, but not the Samsung-sold "S-K" lenses.

42mm screw lenses - Camerapedia

I have an old M42 ISCO 35/2.8 Westron,
which is an S-K Curtagon in a plastic body, as far as I can tell.
Haven't tried it on digital yet.

Except for the T-S lenses and the MFT 14/2, those are just Pentax clones.

It's all very confusing.
You have ISCO lenses that are made by Schneider-Kreuznach,
and "Schneider-Kreuznach" lenses that are made by Pentax.

I got that relationship S-K to Samsung. Fantastic you shared the link, cause I found only cinematographic ISCO.

Please try and share...I am currious.

Wait till you come across the bit where they were separated from JSCO (or was it Joseph Schinder from... ah i'll have to find the link..) as a military equipment maker during the war... Much like Nikon whom made the range finders for the Japanese Navy. ISCO /JSCO were a deft hand at making sure German Bombs ended up where they needed to..

For a start in case someone is quicker at google then I..
