Wow!. I think that still falls under "pretty" however.

Agreed! Wait - what's that "ugly" little brick doing lurking in the background?
It's not a lens so it doesn't count. Its mother still thinks it's pretty

What else? Waiting its turn to mount the prettiest lens.

Out of the lenses that I own, think the Vivitar Series 1 7mm 3.5, 13mm 2.8, and 85mm 1.4 are pretty good looking; I love the look of big glass. Plus, the red ring makes them resemble Canon L series lenses.

I hope you guys don't mind some lens porn; these are also some good n' pretty candidates (that I unfortunately do not own most of them anymore )...

You know, i just spent a good ten mins playing dress up, and i kept coming back to the tak 55 1.8. (or any tak for that matter)

I had a bunch of Ziess 50's f2's to choose from. A Zebra 50 Pentacon 1.8 was a close 2nd.. I think its the font across the barrel. Coupled with the thin fins on the focus ring, everything is understated, functional.. I dig that :P

And i cant believe I'm posting pictures of a camera on an internet forum having a discussion about what "looks best"

Oh its a slippery slippery slope

Takumars and limiteds imo. The K/M/A series look nice but they pale in comparison to the takumars and limiteds.

I think my DFA100WR and SuperTak 105 (w/ original lens hood) get the nod as my favorite since they are a little bigger than the rest. Tough choice between the two.

I reckon the A series Pentax lenses look pretty good (one day I shall have an A 100mm f2.8 macro....one day), but for the moment, I like the rugged look of my Sigma 70-200.

And if you want 'pretty', look at those pretty colours in the lens reflections.

Regards

Probably my Chinon 200mm f3.5. A huge brick of 30 year old mint condition, and just heaviness

If we're going for pretty colors, here are some green and purples.

EDIT: And I *just* figured out the color scheme (maybe) for why some are green and some purple with these things. I'll have to put the entire gang together to confirm - greens are macro lenses, purples non-macros in this bunch.

Glamor Shot?

Well, some real beauties so far, here's my entry; The Vivitar Series 1 90mm f/2.5 VMC Macro, with 1:1 adapter, aka "The Bokina".
