What's Your Prettiest Lens...

regardless of optical quality? I love my new-to-me "A" 50 1.2 with the K85 1.8 a close second. Ain't nuthin' like the look of large glass.

Those are a couple of gems, no doubt! My 'prettiest' would have to be my M28/3.5, followed by the A35-70/4. I love the rendering & I don't have to do much, if any PP with them. Honorable mention would have to go to my workhorse M50/1.7.

edit: oh, I guess my 'best-looking' lens would be...um, my K55/1.8. Classic retro look.

Still love the internal-focus, builtin-shaded Rikenon 70-150 f/4!

Well, there's the rub, eh? My "prettiest to look at" lens is a silver 31mm FA Limited, but the "prettiest results" come from it's little friend, the silver 43mm FA Ltd.

Oh heck, now I think the 43mm takes both prizes...

The DA21 with its square-opening hood looks quite good.

The K 200/2.5 gets my vote as the best looking lens I own.

If results factor in I definitely would nominate my DA duet, 70 first then 40. The 70-150 is a fun throwback but cannot touch them for iq.

For image quality my Sigma 24mm f2.8 or the m42 200mm f4 are the best. The bad is that I hardly use the 200mm as it is very heavy and have to deal with adaptor

Auto-Takumar 2.8/105. I keep having to remind myself that it's not on the camera just for looking pretty.

for me it´s the SMC Takumar 55mm f1.8. Old, but still gorgeous.
