Looking for Pentax Lens Manuals for FA* 80-200 f2.8 and A* 645 600mm f5.6

I've recently acquired these two lenses and was wondering if any body had copies of the lens manuals for these two lenses that could be copied.

Just wanting to fill out my knowledge of htese two lenses.

Regards

Chris Stone

Yes. I've got both of these, BUT there were special user manuals for these two lenses. If you read the general A and FA lens manuals for the two lenses I'm interested in they say see the user manuall for the lens.

Regards

Hmm, did they come with dedicated manuals? I believe I got my FA* 28-70mm LNIB, so the manual should be there if one was supplied. But I seem to recall that it only came with the generic manual, as all FA* zooms basically work the same way

I'll check in a bit!

I got the FA* 80-200 and FA* 28-70 when they were first released new. They came with a manual that updated the previous FA manual, but I'll have to go home and rummage around and compare my piles of manuals to see if there is anything different about those manuals...

I still have both lenses and both are still absolutely fantastic and have produced many dozens of published photos...editors love the results from those lenses. Did some fine art copy work once too with the 80-200 to create an image of an original painting (not painted by me) and that image was used for the lithography/print work. I know, supposed to use one of my macros for that task, but the 80-200 has so little distortion and such strong corner sharpness that it worked great. Back then, Pop Photo tests ranked it significantly above the Canon and Nikon equivalents.
