About 2 weeks ago I got my K-30, to add to my K-x. Today I a got a mixed bag......Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 1.8/55, Pentax-A 35-80mm, RMC Tokina 2.8/135mm, Izumanon Auto 2x converter (M42, made in Japan), and a nice bag that will take both my K-x and K-30, with lenses attached...

The Tokina has some fungus but I have it under the UV-C light at the moment, and I think I should be able to clean it. The other stuff is almost as new, especially the Tak 55.

For all this I paid the princely sum of $45!

I would like any info on the Tokina and especially the adapter, regarding IQ and other characteristics

The UV light might kill the fungus but it won't clean it out of the lens, only opening it for a physical clean will be able to do that.

Thanks Jonathan, I've cleaned a few fungus lenses before. As I'll be a bit busy over the festive season, I decided to just kill it first and clean the elements when I get a chance in the new year. I might take it for a quick spin this weekend, just to see if it will be worth the time to actually clean it... I'll just have to get some glue for the auto pin
