PETITION Lets put an end to the crazy online Pentax lens prices in the US!

If these prices keep going up, or even stay at these levels, it will be more economical to abandon the Pentax system and go with another one, if one wants to keep up with improvements in technology and expand their choices in the lenses they use. It's like they want us to go away.

I would love to buy additional lenses for my K10D, but there are now absolutely no brick and mortar stores within hundreds of miles of my home selling pentax gear. The few stores that existed have closed their doors. Remaining stores carry mainly Canon. I want Pentax. Until online prices for Pentax lenses reach the reasonable level I will postpone purchasing lenses. My last lens purchase was a Tamron.

Count me in too, my last purchase had to be tamron seing that prices, i even got a discount for my tamron lens what a good luck i had

I own about $1500 in Sigma lenses. I would have preferred Pentax, but the cost/benefit ratio for Pentax lenses is too high to make Pentax lenses worth it.

I hope the sells of K-01 can tell pentax something. Just look how many k-01s were sold after they adjust the price (I got one, can't resist) and imagine what would have happened if it was priced at $399 when introduced?
Haven't brought any new pentax lens in the past 4 years. Got 4 Sigma lenses instead. Could have been spend on Pentax if priced right.
Will stay with Pentax, but will not buy any new lens at this price.

I don't even consider buying Pentax lenses anymore, i have two Sigam, 1 Tamron and 1 Pentax (only bought it as it was on sale)
