K01 + Viewfinder

Guys, I have a silly question for K01. Is it possible that I can put Pentax O-VF1 47mm Viewfinder for Q Camera on K01 body? Is there any view area concern? Thanks.

I'm sure you can. A number of us have experimented with various add-on OVFs. You have to do a little experimenting to figure out how well the view corresponds to whichever lens you want to use, as well as parallax shift up/down for closer subjects. I haven't actually tried the O-VF1, so I'll leave that to those that have.

I'll work but it's not going tobe a very good fit for the 40mm...plus it costs about the same as the camera

There are lots of viewfinders that were for old rangefinders that work in the hotshoe. Over on the Q forum we've got many examples to read about thst ought to work just fine on your K-01 and are FAR less costly than the O-VF1.

The lens that would fit that OVF's field of view is the FA 31mm/F1.8 Limited (1.53*31=47mm). If you ain't got that wonderful piece of glass that's a reason ;-)

Just need a confirmation here before I purchase the wrong item, thanks.

When I use DA 15mm on K01, is it correct to use Voigtlander 21/25mm viewfinder? For DA15mm, it should be around 22.95mm if I am not mistaken.
