Can The K-5 Be Used With A Bellows?

Just curious.

Of course, I myself use this cheap Chinese bellows with PK mount for mounting enlarger lenses or microscope lenses.

Yes, but bear in mind that to the cam, a bellows is the same as a non-compatible lens. So your flash options maybe limited

It will work, but there might be some compatibility issues. like when I use my old Soligor K-mount bellows I can't mount my DSLR's directly on it, as the prisma-house/flash on the camera is in the way. So I have to use a 12mm extension tube between the camera and bellows.

On Pentax M/A bellows unit I use my k7 without any problems. You have to remove battery grip and you have to have the lens with the aperture ring so that you can close aperture.

I have a k thick chunky adapter on my old pentax m42 bellows thread. Don't try the pentax adapter as your bellows can get stuck on. I use a 100 macro stop down lens. Problem with using bellows with latest lenses is you can't adjust the iris.

I get better results using my 100wr macro and a 2 times converter.
