I have no SDM lenses but this is very interesting. Can someone who's performed the procedure confirm if it works?

You need to use notepad+ to view the .lens file as line and colunn

Anyway, I do not achieve to find yet, the code for my 60-250mm, and I am still waiting for one of my friend to let me try with his 50-135mm.
I will try later with a 200mm DA or a 300mm DA

eagerly waiting for codes to disable sdm in 50-135... thank you for sharing! or is the code for 16-50 same as the codes for 50-135?

Seconded. Its a relief that we now have an option to fix our broken SDM lenses.

I thought long and hard if this could be done... now it is. Thanks to whoever did this contribution it is SO VERY HELPFUL!!

Looks like prices for second hand dual-driven SDM lenses are gonna go up a bit now

Best to grab one now while most are still unaware. :P

exactly what i think !

We should ask the tech guy to see if you can adjust front/back focus by the same method ?

But how can it works on K-5?
We cannot enter a full development menu through PKTether
