K-R Lens White help?

Hey Guys,

I currently have a white k-r and I am looking at new lenses for it. I have been looking for a while now off and on and only seem to be having luck in finding black ones. Which I wouldn't mind, but I would prefer to try to find a white one. anyways, I currently have the 18-55mm which came in the kid and I would enjoy having a new feature for my camera. Any ideas as to where I could find a white lens for it?

I believe the only other lens that was ever produced in while was the DA L 50-200mm:

Pentax also made the DA35 2.4 in white version but they only sell in Japan. If you decide to get the white version you are going to pay almost twice the amount of the regular black one. New Pentax Da 35mm F2 4 F 2 4 Lens White 4 K 5 K R KR 027075114623 | eBay

I love the look of the white body and white lens, so I can understand why you would want other lenses in white. I almost bought the K-01 in white, at least I might have if more lenses were available to match.

Tanzer, I was thinking the same thing for when I got my k-r, but I really loved the modern and sleek look of it in white. It just made it seem so unique that I couldn't pass it up. I did realize that i would probably have troubles finding more lenses in white, but I figured if worst came to worst I could just get them in black.

Yeah, I think the white and black mix is okay. It's a matter of personal taste of course. The various Pentax color offerings have been the subject of many discussion threads here, some in ridicule, some in serious debate.

For a while it looked as if the pink K-r also came with a pink lens, although I'm not sure if those were just stock photos based on the Japanese market offerings. I was thinking to leverage this to get my wife to join the club, but pink was just too much, even for her. And then I would have gotten stuck carrying it around.
