Yup. With that fact before us, I'd recommend the Sigma 8-16 which B&H lists for $649. If that's too rich (and it will be for many), I'd go with the older, original Sigma 10-20 f/4-5.6 for $429. A second, and newer, Sigma 10-20 offers an f/3.5 constant aperture and costs $599. Both are still available new. The Sigma 10-20 has legions of happy fans and offers auto focus, which the Samyang won't. The Sigmas don't look like they're much larger than the Samyang, either. Of course, the Samyang will offer f/2.8. But you'll have to wait for it.
