I remain mystified. Has anyone a pic of the foil trick? I'm a visual sort of guy. I have a K100 and a 20 on order..........

It's very simple. Just tear a piece of foil so that it will lay across all the contacts at once. Fold it over double or triple for extra durability if you like. I put one piece of tape along the bottom of the mount and one along the side.

If the foil trick works and lets us use the EV compensation freely; than, I think Pentax people can embed this solution into firmware as well. I don't think they will, but I would be happy to be informed whether this reasoning is correct
