Blue Halo Around Bright Stars

This might have been discussed before. Is there a way to get rid of the blue halo by using a filter or such and if so what kind of filter?

Which lens are you talking about? Terrible blue halo appears on my photos with DA 15 ltd where a bright white light (maybe natrium light?) is in the picture. I didnīt notice this problem with any other of my lenses. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to get rid of these

A yellow filter will block blue, and to get rid of the yellow cast, adjust the white balance.

Stars often bring out limitations in otherwise great lenses. Welcome to the world of astrophotography.
