Rare and odd lenses...

I was wondering how many here have odd and unusual lenses and actually use them. I have two lenses that you rarely ever find anywhere for sale. Both are fairly old.
One is a Polaris 55-300mm F4.5 Zoom (YS mount converted to T Mount) and the other one is a Vivitar 120-600mm F5.6-8

I use both lenses, but the 55-300 has become my favorite lens for shooting Hummingbird. The 120-600mm is great for moon Shots, at least that's the only thing I have done with so far.

Polaris 55-300mm

Vivitar 120-600mm

Anybody else have unusual lenses, please post them here.

Bought this in the mid 80's and left it attached to my Super Program.
Not a bad little lense. Sharp stopped down. Macro focus.

Not odd but rare

One of my treasured lens is the SMC-K 85/1.8. It is not odd but quite rare. This is the only one I have seen at any online shops (don't really do ebay) in the two years since I have picked up photography.

cheers
Kenny

There's one on ebay right now for $1500 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330041613750

I wish I could afford that. A 200mm macro is a hell of a working distance. If you pick it up I'm borrowing it some time.

I've been using an old K 45-125 f/4 zoom wth my *st D. It gives pretty much the same field of view as the 70-200 does on the film cameras. And it works just fine on my MX bodies, too!

There was a time you could find them for less than a grand ... Oh to get my hands on one now (for less than a $1,000 that is) ...

I'm known for some odd lenses...Jupiter-9 (not so odd to those who own it), old Takumars from the 1950's, but oddest of all has got to be my collection of Nikon lenses that I'm converting one-by-one to Pentax K mount!
