Owners manual for DA 18-55 WR?

Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a copy of the owners manual for the 18-55 WR kit lens?

I just got one but it arrived with no packaging .

Alternatively can anyone tell me why the close focus part of the distance scale is in orange? Is that a warning that image quality isn't great in that range?

No, the orange just means that you're in what would be considered a macro range.

There is no manual for the 18-55mm specifically, I believe. There's only a generic DA lens manual.

Thanks Adam! I am quite surprised how close it focuses.2.6:1 in my experiments - not far off some so-called "macro" lenses.

Well, not too far from zoom lenses that label themselves as macro in order to pump up sales figures, but not close to a true macro lens.

I don't know - plenty of quality macro primes only go to 1:2. Still technically not macro, which is why I put the word in quotes. Due to the crop factor, this effectively gets me closer than my Zuiko 50/3.5 Macro (1:2) does on 35mm film.
