Need a 7500mm Lens

Anybody have any leads on a 7500mm lens? It'd be nice if it was F/4 or faster.

^Best thing I can think of. Stack some teleconverters, I'm sure it'll suit your needs...

Sounds a little slow. I'd hold out for the f/2.8 pro version.

It's also got worse AF than the AF 35-70 for the old ME-F

Lens prices is something like $10 per mm at F4

I hate to think of weight

I think you can purchase some 5 tonne telescopes that is up to the job. Not very portable.

A Q with a FA*600 will give you 600 * 5.5 = 3300 mm f4

The included picture was taken at 800mm on a full-frame camera (D600), though it may have been cropped. That's more like 500-550mm on a crop camera. Pentax does make a FA 600mm f4 lens. Availability is something of an issue.
