Sigma HSM lens compatible with K30

Hi folks,
I'm thinking to buy a used Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 OS HSM lens. However, I have just learnt from some reviews that Sigma HSM lenses may not be compatible with newer dslr. As I'm planning to get a K30 later this year to replace my current K200d, I'm worried that I could not use the lens in autofocus.
May I know if someone in the community have these 2 equipment can provide their advice?

I'm pretty sure that the warnings isn't for Pentax, I don't think there are any AF lenses with a firmware that doesn't work with the K-30. Pentax is really good in that remark! Canon and even worse Sony seems to be a different story though with lenses simply not working due to obsolete software and some lenses needs to be re-chipped.

Every single existing marketed Sigma lens will work with all of the existing Pentax body cameras.

Although some have noticed some back focusing issues (that one is due to differences in Pentax supplied specs), and there are a few remote issues with some of the lower aperature focusing specs - mostly due to lens that have aperatures below f5.0 - but this same exact issue appears in most every current lens made by any company
