New 16-50 ??????

I知 almost ready to pull the trigger on a nice lens. I知 currently shooting with:

18-55 Kit Lens
28 A 2.8
50 A 1.4
30-105 A 3.5
100 M 4 Macro
28-300 Tamron

My heart says the new Pentax16-50 but I hear there are quality problems and the Sigma 18-50 is half the price and Pop Photo liked the sigma very much and recommended it in their review of the 16-50.

I知 open to other suggestions. Are the full frame lenses I should consider?

I知 not asking for much, just the perfect everyday lens.

Thanks to all,
joe

Dpends what you're looking for in an everyday lens.
Want wide angle? Go DA 16-45 or Sigma 17-70.
Want low light? Go Tammy 28-75.
Want zoom versatility? Stick with your Tammy 28-300 and add something for wider angle if necessary.

You've already got some noce glassware (28/2.8 and 50/1.4), so look at your needs and see where your deficit is to find the right lens for you...

As my reading tells me, there are quality problems with the lens. About 2.5% of them had centering/focus issues. Mine didn't. First try. I love that lens. Fast and sharp - but it does have CA.

I see so many negative comments about it that sometimes I feel like what have I just bought...

But been using it for 4 months already and like Canada Rockies, the lens rocks.. (I used to have 16-45mm f4, 24-70 f4 and still have the 21mm f3.2, and found that it actually captures more details than my 21mm (prime lens) with a non-scientific test (tripod, point to a small section of the newspaper and just take comparison between both)!!!
