...and while we're off on the LBA about this and that, the humble 18-55 kit lens got a review at the 800lb-gorilla-of-camera-review website.

Pentax DA 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 AL Lens Review: 1. Introduction: Digital Photography Review

they take a nice approach on reviewing the lens, and for the first time i can actually compare it to the build of a Canon kit lens. Phil and his guys do pay more attention to Canon kit lens however.

Hate to rain on your thread but this has been posted at least 3 times already. But it's good recognition for Pentax and nice to see a "recommended" on the review. It's a much better lens than most realize.
