Lens repair

So I got a cheap k1000 and the lens had fungus and I am trying to clean the lens/seeing the inside of a lens for the first time

. So I got everything apart but I can't get behind the front element. After a few Internet tutorials it looks like I need a spanner wrench. They cost three times as much as the camera and lens did! Any alternatives to get behind there?

Those are not very expensive if you can get them from abroad.
