DA 70 mm overexposes a lot

Hello All,

My DA 70 mm is overexposing a lot. Each time I use it I have to underexpose by 3 points or something like that, to get not so overexposed images. Do you know what could be wrong?
The ISO values are not the issue.

What camera are you using? Is the lens fully mounted - up to the click sound? Is the aperture being closed normally? Or does it stay wide open? Just go to M mode and set aperture to f14 or something and look down the lens when you take a photo.

Does sound like a sluggish aperture mechanism. Slide the aperture lever on the lens to close the iris then release it, does it feel snappy or slow.

Please post a sample photo including exif info. Otherwise, nobody can do anything but make wild guesses.

And make sure you compare side-by-side with another lens to rule out aperture control problem on the body.
