Dejur 135 f2.8

Just saw this lens for sale here in Korea. About $60.

Anyone know anything about it? Google gives me basically nothing.. mostly a couple threads of people looking for info. No samples, nothing. Seems like it might be a decently fast prime.

Looks like a decent cheap 135mm, maybe you can bargain it down lower than 60?

Yes, I'd seem some of those, but not really specific to this lens. Just Dejur in general, seems like I might avoid it, quality seems a little subpar from what I've seen and $60 might be high for it, but a fair price in Korea.

I don't own the lens but I do have a dejur teleconverter 2x and I will have to say it is horrible. I would not use it at all. So if the lens in anything like the teleconverter then I'd pass on it unless you don't want $60.

Unfortunately I can't. The one shop in the country selling manual pentax lenses is in another city, which would cost me $80 return trip to try it out, not a good price.

Try looking on ebay for a Pentax 135mm f3.5.This lens is very sharp,you should be able to find one for less than $60 shipped.

Not with shipping to Korea, looking at around $90 minimum, or more.
but I was mainly only interested in a 2.8.

Get a Tokina 135/2.8 with an uncountable number of aperture blades, maybe a M42 one with a cheap adapter that you mod and attach permanently. I got a 135/2.8 and find it quite wonderful for the price.

Yes! It is a solid buy. I own one and it is my favorite my manual lens. It is a heavy lens,but it is easy to to maneuver. Portrait,still life,landscape, I use it for EVERYTHING! I even use it as a walking around lens for street photography. Sharp images, WONDERFUL bokeh!
