Need lens recomendation for my soon to have K30

Hi there everyone,

I am getting a K30 having sold my Olympus setup and need some lenses.

Prices is under 300 and used is fine.
Auto focus that I can go manual if needed is ideal.

I need 1 WR lens for renaissance faires and outdoor events in bad climates.

I need 1 fixed focal length prime about 75-100 mm under f2 for portrait

I need a wide that goes wider than 14 for nature

I need 1 lens for indoor sports like jr. college basketball (Must be Auto Focus and manual)

I would love to have a fisheye lens

I also would love a 35 or a 50mm prime.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Let's start at the top of your list:
You need on WR lens for outdoor/poor climate events (I'll assume there is no difference what kind of faire or event it is) - Pentax SMC DA 18-135mm F/3.5-5.6 ED AL (IF) DC WR Lens 21977 B&H

You need one portrait lens under f2 for portrait (though I am not sure why you would need such a shallow DOF for portraiture, but I dig - it may be an outdoor type of gig) - Pentax smc Pentax-D FA 100mm f/2.8 WR Macro Lens 21910 B&H Photo

You need something wider than 14 for nature. You have to go with non - Pentax, unless you want a fisheye - Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC J Autofocus Lens for Pentax 201109

You need a sports lens (a fast, constant - aperture zoom. 70-200 is the standard, but alas, no offering from Pentax except it's cropped cousin, the DA*50-135):Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD (IF) Macro AF Lens AF001P-700 B&H

Fisheye - you can't go wrong with this: Pentax SMCP-DA 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Autofocus Lens 21580 B&H

35 or 50 prime - you have come to the right place:
Pentax Normal SMCP-FA 50mm f/1.4 Autofocus Lens 20817 B&H Photo
Pentax smc DA 50mm f/1.8 Lens 22177 B&H Photo Video
Pentax Normal smc P-D FA 50mm f/2.8 Macro Autofocus Lens 21530
Pentax Telephoto 55mm f/1.4 DA* SDM Autofocus Lens 21790 B&H
Pentax Wide Angle 35mm f/2.0 SMCP-FA AL Autofocus Lens 22190 B&H
Pentax SMCP-DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited Series Autofocus 21730

I suppose my point is you have a lot to choose from with a lot of overlapping focal lengths and max/constant apertures. For the k30, I would seriously consider just starting with the 18-135 and either the fa 50 or DA*55. 14 is way too wide for most nature shots (in fact, I would consider thinking about telephoto lenses instead - keep some distance between you and the wildlife). You are buying a tremendous camera that you will be thrilled with; look at economizing on the glass before you break out in full LBA fever

18-55WR is pretty cheap and flexible while being a descent lens

I need 1 fixed focal length prime about 75-100 mm under f2 for portrait

I like my Samyang 85/1.4 - it's MF but a great lens.

I need a wide that goes wider than 14 for nature

Hard to find an AF lens under $300 in that range. These are the AF zooms that are <14 -

You need something that is fast and has some reach - a short Tammy zoom f2.8 would seem the most likely to come in under budget (used of course). The Tamron 70-200/2.8 would be ideal but it runs $700+.

I would love to have a fisheye lens
Samyang 8mm/3.5

I also would love a 35 or a 50mm prime.
DA 35/2.4 is VERY well regarded and runs ~$160 used in great shape.

As doc noted, the Samyang 85 is a beast of a lens, highly recommended by many users across all brands of camera manufacturers.

Sigma 70~200 2.8 FLD, well worth every penny you pay for it, close to being as good as the renowned Nikkor 70~200 VR.

The Sigma 50 1.4 is great, if you don't mind manual focus, the Samyang 35 1.4 is another beast by Samyang, just as good as the 85 only in 35mm focal.
