DA 35mm f/2.4 v. 18-135 WR @ 35mm

It's a great little lens, although I would love an 18-135 in my bag as well. I find the price a bit steep, however - the only way I can see myself getting one would be as part of a kit lens package. Maybe Pentax will produce a plastic fantastic DA L version...?

Thanks, Paul, I was just hanging out in that thread. Great photos. Looks like it would be a great lens for me.

Since the retail price is so low and it seems to be in production, I'm going wait a little while and get to know my new camera with the zoom and my old manual prime(s). I'm probably going to buy this M 100 Macro, just because it's local and clean and I can test it and it will be cheap. I can see that if that lens didn't resonate with me, one of you would take it off of my hands for what I'm being asked to pay for it, probably immediately.

This fast normal range, for what I shoot fairly regularly, though feels like where my biggest hole/need will be. I'm glad to know there is an expensive and readily available solution to it that everyone feels so good about.
