K135/2.5- SMC vs smc variant

There seems to be two variants of K135/2.5, one marked "smc" and another marked "SMC"

K 135/2.5

Is there any difference between both the variants? If yes, which is better?

Thanks

Not that I know of, only the first generation K mounts have the SMC (in capitals), the 55mm 2.0 (K1000 kit lens) was probably the first lens with the new format lens name.

They are the same the difference is cosmetic. Pentax started adding "mm" and started using a lower case "smc" in the lens name in 1977.
