Actually think you are right there. I went back and had another play with the 55mm and I do so so want it! I'm just not sure if I can justify 500 on a single prime.

Decisions are never easy! Didn't realise the 35mm had moving front element either. Not that its a big issue.

I have my 55-300mm for telephoto. I don't use it very often (not my main style of shooting) but I am 100% satisfied with its quality (which is amazing). Now I've sort of shifted my current needs to a standard zoom, but I do plan on getting one of these mid-range primes a while afterwards. The 43mm Limited is still very much on my mind but it seems a little too close to 50mm.
