DA 35mm f/2.4 StarBurst effect?

Ok last Starburst question. I know the 15mm produces the best star burst effect, but I was wondering if anyone has pictures of the el cheapo DA 35mm F/2.4 with a "Starburst" effect. I NEED to buy one Pentax limited lens (Ok so maybe its not quite a limited) and the price and quality of this lens intrigues me.

It's got 6 blades, so only 6 edges in the starbursts.

Click the link for the full size to see the smaller bursts. They look cleaner. If I stopped down more, it'd be a bit better looking. The benefit of the DA 15 is that you can get a massive foreground vs the background, so foreground lights look so much better.

This will be my first lens purchase after the DA L 18-55mm Kit lens. I'm looking for a GO TO lens that's sharp sharp sharp. And Bob, the Price is Right!

It's pretty good. A bit soft at F2.4, to be honest, but it's definitely usable. At F4, it's as sharp as any prime I know.

The new 50mm F1.8 has a 7 bladed iris and makes 14 point stars if you can live with the extra length...

The DA 40mm XS is nine blades for 18 light points but I haven't tried to create an image with them yet. Should look similar to DA 40mm limited images in a price range closer to the 50mm f/1.8 and 35mm f/2.4.
