Asahiflex,

That's a very nice collection, I'm a bit jealous. I hear a lot of nice things about the F line.

I do have the F 28 2.8, and it is a little beauty:

If you decide you don't want that new F 135, let me know

The one I love most, however, is the F* 300/4.5. This lens has an outstanding sharpness and is so small... I recommend it over the FA* 300 and DA* 300 because it has the hood built-in, so you'll never lose it.
very nice photos all of them!

i always scope out Matsuiyastore once in a while to see what they have. usually any F* 300's they have go quick, much quicker than the FA*.

Well, I've just added the SMC Pentax-F 50mm f/1.7 and SMC Pentax-F 135mm f/2.8 to my collection of F-series lenses.

I've tried the 135mm out during lunchtime at work, using it as a pseudo macro (the photos are cropped heavily). Just as I expected, the PF is visible in several places. But it is not distracting at all.

There's something in the rendering of the 135mm that reminds me of the Voigtlander 125mm macro. But maybe I'm seeing things that aren't there

Thanks. And yes, the F line is superb but ugly

Nice pics, this shows that one does not need to have the FA version.
