DA* 50-135mm in-depth review

The DA* 50-135mm is one of the most popular premium Pentax lenses out there at the moment, and our in-depth review of it is finally here!

Pentax-DA* 50-135mm F2.8 Review - Introduction - PentaxForums.com

It's a little overdue, but better late than never I'd say!

Adam's test on the FF-capability of the DA*50-135 holds true. Just tested it out for myself:

since this was shot on a K2 at 135mm, it could probably be around f/32 or something. At 50mm the vignetting would probably be a lot worse,

but hey, I'm not complaining. I could still safely say it can work for full-frame. For an image supposed to be soft due to diffraction and the lens' natural tendency for softness at the long end, it still looks sharp enough to me!
