Pentax DA* 55mm f/1.4 Focus Ring Question

Quick question to all the DA* 55mm f/1.4 owners. Is it normal for the focus ring to keep turning past the minimum (or maximum) focus distance? I'm guessing "yes" due to the internal focusing mechanism but I just want to be sure.

Yes, just about any modern lens with quick shift focusing (by Pentax and other brands) will behave like this.

Yeah mine does that. I was curious about this as well a while back and nervous about it until I found out it was normal
