We've had that "white stuff" for 3 months now and the storm blowing through Quebec has started here. I'm supposed to catch a 06:30 flight tomorrow....

Peter

I have actually never touched snow, only seen it from a distance, mountain peaks etc, even on my trip to Nepal I only encountered ice, not snow.

that aside, congrats on the 31 limited, I am now getting all the more closer to one of these gems. thanks for the pics mate.

Hahaha just realised as well this thread was bumped

Now this is the second time you get this gem back!

Enjoy the lens and look forward to more image from you

Here are some of mine!

Hi James, I really like these two. The small house looks like it could fall apart any minute. Did you use any special filter for the second one ?

Beautiful.

Having blown my entire 2008 lens budget less than 60 days into the new year, I'm going to have to endure shots like this for another 10 months. Thanks for rubbing it in, Pete.

Funny how an old thread gets bumped. Great shots James. Love the lush greens in those images.

I sold the 31mm a few months later. It's a beautiful lens but I just wasn't using it enough to justify the $$. It's been replaced with a pair of lenses; Tak 28mm f3.5 and Tak 25mm f2. Both render as well and are as sharp. Not quite 3D as the 31mm but for less than 1/5th of the $ for both, well....
