A picture from the website where I linked above (Samyang 8mm with the hood shaved (right) and a Canon 5D):

I forgot two true sleepers, the FA-J 18-35 (18mm on FF; about $100 now) and the F 17-28 fisheye zoom. The latter is pretty rare, but not that expensive, and should be a lot more useful on full frame.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!

I for one will be using the recommendations here to try and seek out some oldie-but-goodie lenses on HK's online used marketplace (dcfever.com).

Sigma 24-60mm f2.8.
What a surprise package that was when I first tried it. This will be a gem of a walk-around on FF.

Tamron 28-75, A35-105, A50/1.2, A50/2.8 Macro, FA28,DA35/2.4 (FF compatible!),FA50, M100/4 Macro, Agfa (Sears) 135/2.8, Sigma 70-200 HSM II, AFA1.7 adapter.

Just need an UWA, and I'm all set
Look for the FA 20-35mm F/4.0 for a UWA zoom, or the FA 20mm F/2.8m for a UWA prime. The 20-35 is a bit rarer, but since it's F/4.0 and a zoom, it a bit cheaper. IIRC I got mine for about $350. The FA 20mm F/2.8 cost me $600 but has been worth it AFAIC.

No kidding, the 50mm f/1.2 is probably going to get a $200 premium...same goes for any second hand FA limited lenses.

I have the Sigma 12-24 and 28-70, which are decent lenses, though I have yet to try the former on a full frame sensor (I used the 28-70 on a Z-1P). The 12-24 is not too bad on my K-5 where its wide angle versatility outweighs its less-than-razor sharpness. The 50mm 2.8 A macro is a good, sharp lens and is capable of rendering excellent results, both as a standard lens and a macro. I also have F 35-80 and F 35-70 sitting on old cameras in my collection. If I remember rightly, they were pretty sharp lenses for their price. Along with my 50mm 1.7A and 1.4M lenses, I'm hoping to have a lot of fun revisiting my legacy glass if and when Pentax bring out a full-frame body.

I hate to say but I have been using the Sigma 12-24 f/4.5.-5.6 EX HSM on my Canon 1Ds and it is not really pulling its weight even when compared to the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II - perhaps with the Bayer AA filter the image quality will improve but I would really hate to rely on that. I consider the 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 on APS-C format better than the 12-24mm on full frame - but then the 8-16mm is a newer lens design.

You wont find a sharper lens for less money... The Sears branded style routinely goes ~ $10 on eBay.

Looking through my collection, I (re)discovered my Sigma 20-40mm f2.8 EX lens. It seems to me that it will cover a useful range of focal lengths on a Pentax FF camera.

Originally because of some other thread saying that a $2K Pentax will be announced this month.

Whether it is this month or March 2014, I'd place a large wager that it'll come sometime in between.

I don't really have any 'sleepers' but the FA28 & F35-70 are both FF-lenses that I can see myself using more ofter should I have a Digital-FF body to run alongside my K5... They both currently see more use on my MZ-7 than K5 (although I still carry the 28)

I'd say that here in the UK FFF (Full-Frame-Frenzy) or more FFFFF (full-frame-future-feeding-frenzy) has already started... An FA20 I was watching recently went for what can only be described as 'silly-money' and even lenses like the Pentax-F28 are attempting to command £200+ on the used market...

I've seen a couple of 'Vivitar-A 19mm 3.8' lenses go for around £130 - Bought mine for around £50ish a few years back and it's only marginally sharper than the kit lens...

Manual 24mm's are being sold at a premium too as there seems to be few around

It's a good thing that the market is saturated with decent fast-fifties but even these are slowly rising (although this is probably more to do with the global economic situation than FFFFF) and some sellers here are asking for crazy money on M/A-50mm 1.7 lenses, which there's an abundance of...

Despite the mounting evidence, the possibility that pentax might not come out with a FF DSLR will tick those people off...
