Converters on Sigma 70-200 HSM II?

This was with the HSM II version. The pre OS one.

Thanks for that confirmation. I have the HSM II - I must try it out with a couple of the TC's I have. I always assumed the results would be poor.

Wow. Thanks for posting those. The converter appears to work amazingly well with the HSM. Much appreciated. Also really great shots-they are striking.

I was surprised by the quality of the combination, especially the centre sharpness does not seem to degrade. The converter does pronounce some of the Sigma's weaknesses (fringing wide open) a fair bit although that is not visible in these shots. Also, the out of focus areas seem to be a bit more "hazy" when using the converter.
