WARNING explicit images ( lens Violence )

Sigma 28-90mm f3.5-5.6 Aspherical MACRO Lens Reviews - Sigma Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database This lens

Well , Ive been buying some old MZ series cameras for the lenses , the last one was a MZ-60 and the camera appears to be functioning just fine ..

But what was not fine , was the lens , it did not even work on the MZ-60 I purchased , did not work on my istDS or my K5 , and it only worked on a MZ-5n half of the time ( if that )

So what do you do with a lousy lens - attach it to a camera and pass it on to the next person ? or just do the right thing and take it out of circulation ..

Why pass on rubbish - junk is junk and Im not overly impressed by people passing them onto some one else ...

Well here are some gratuitous images , of me getting my monies worth , nothing like smacking the stuffing out of something ( try it sometime ) = Mellow man !

Well there you go ..

Some serious lens violence ! ( Why do I feel so much better for it ? )

I would have taken it to the range and used it to sight in my AR-15.

Good riddance to plastic K mounts! (Well, except you fine DA-L lenses, of course...)

No great loss - that lens isn't even very good when it's working! (I had some I sold a few years ago - for general photography they're barely worth what they sell for used, if that).

Of all the lenses I could imagine seeing you destroy, this was the best one - no mourning whatsoever!

Wow. Even though it was a crap lens (am I allowed to say that here?), I was still squirming a bit while viewing those photos!
Probably would have felt quite different if it had been me hammering the heck (to be more polite) out of it. LOL

That also works as a cure for yellowing Pentax lenses.

Maybe we should just set aside some monies every month to buy some useless lens and start a thread on discontinuing such lens from circulation..
Hey! That sounds like a really fun form of LBA compared to the normal discussions. ;P

Heck! People shoot walls, charts and whatever-nots to test it's qualities. Those who has a gun, perhaps it's time to literally shoot lenses? No? Test calibers and test for lenses that are claimed to last a lifetime.. ;P
