ditto.

And I reckon my four get more use than his, looking at their near mint condition, perhaps he may swap with me.

Even though I only have two star-lenses, I have the same smile on my face.

I think he has two of each; these are the mint-condition copies.

An impressive collection to be sure. There is another forum member, Jim King, who can probably top it however. Jim seems to have just about every lens Pentax ever made as I recall. He doesn't post very often but maybe he will see this and respond.

Jim usually hangs out at dp review. But yes, his collection is bigger by a factor of 2 or so, In addition I think he has every camera ever made by Pentax or Asahi Pentax. I tried to do a search for a pic of his collection (I've seen the pic so I know it exsists) but I couldn't find it. Someone with a membership at dp review might be able to find it there.

NaCl(it is truely an amazing collection)H2O

I don't see a M 50/1.7. Wonder if he'd be interested in my second copy.
Maybe you can suggest some sort of a swap (?).

Also a shame that there isn't a proper array of quality Pentax lenses available - as so many recent body reviews use to dismiss the brand, and add to the "con" section. I'm pretty sure no professional could tolerate the optics limitations.

Sad epilogue: gplr63, the owner of this collection, is now 62 and his gear will be auctioned next week at the request of the 'juge des tutelles' (a judge who manages the life of adult persons who can't take care of themselves any more).

This is very sad to hear and hits me to the quick, being just about the same age. What an amazing collection gplr63 assembled. If I could, I think I'd go to France if only to see all of these in one place.

What's up with those estimates? Or am I reading this wrongly?

K50/1.2: 30-40€
FA50/1.4: 40-60€
A50/1.2: 60-80€

And it's getting worse A*85/1.4: 100-150€

Yes, please. All of them for these prices.
