Anybody looking for a Shift lens?

I have no affiliation with the seller, or the item.

I simply found it on my daily ebay search and thought that somebody here may be interested in it. It seems well priced.

Shift lens at 75mm is not so use full on crop sensor.
28mm shift should be ok on crop sensor, while 35mm is my limit.
Thanks for posting.

hoanpham, you realise it's a Pentax 67 system lens, right?

Although a 28mm focal length for a 6x7cm frame would be quite a lens...

Aye, it certainly would be, front element the size of a dinner plate and each lens come with a live in Sherpa to lug it about.

I have both the K28/3.5 and the 6x7 75/4.5 shift lenses.

The K28/3.5 is very useful on a FF film camera and is recommended.

The 6x7 75/4.5 is the FF equivalent of 38mm, which is not as wide as the 28mm, but never the less fine on a Pentax 6x7 film camera.

Like always when you use these old lenses on the camera they were designed for they are great, when you try and use them on a cropped sensor not so much. One day when a 35mm FF comes out these old classics will be in demand again.

Phil.
